The Merseyside Open Draw has once again delivered in producing some high quality match ups in the opening round. Several Merseyside county players are pitted against each other in round 1 as well as former winners.

John Whitty will be looking to successfully defend his trophy from 12 months ago, while Ian Brumby will be seeking to become the first player to hold all 3 of Merseyside’s ‘Major’ Events.

The top half of the draw gets underway this Sunday at 10am, whilst the bottom half will play on Sunday 17th November at 10am.

Finals day will be 15th December. All matches will be best of 7 frames with the winner of the event pocketing £450.
